Privacy Notice

Who this covers
This notice covers Sapphire Ag and the information collected through this website. It does not cover the Sapphire Ag customer portal, which is governed by your service agreement.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into a form on this site:
- Identifiers - name, email address, phone number.
- Commercial information - your farm or company name, and which brochure or product you asked about.
- Internet activity - which page you submitted the form from.
We do not ask for and do not want financial details, government identifiers, precise location, health information, or any of the categories CCPA treats as sensitive personal information.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies and runs no visitor analytics. If a form submission fails to reach us, the page sends one error report to Microsoft Azure Application Insights so we can fix it: which form, which page, and the error. It does not include anything you typed, and your IP address is masked by that service.
Why we collect it
- To answer your enquiry and follow up about products and services.
- To know which brochure or product you were interested in when we follow up.
- To keep a record of who asked for what, so we do not lose track of your request.
Where it comes from
Directly from you. We do not buy contact lists or collect personal information about you from data brokers.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
When you submit a form, what you typed is sent to a small service we run on Microsoft Azure, which emails it to our sales team through an email delivery provider. That provider processes it only to deliver the email and does not use it for its own purposes. Nothing is stored by our service beyond sending that email, and no other third party receives it.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry for 36 months from our last contact with you, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time through the Remove my data form.
Your California privacy rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, if you are a California resident you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you, and how we use and disclose it.
- Delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to the exceptions the statute allows.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share it, so there is nothing to opt out of - but the right stands.
- Limit our use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect any.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We will not charge you more, give you less, or refuse to deal with you.
How to make a request
Use the Remove my data form, or email sales@sapphireag.com with "data request" in the subject line.
We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. If we need longer we will tell you why and may take up to a further 45 days, as the statute permits.
An authorised agent may make a request on your behalf. We may ask you to confirm directly that you gave them permission.
Verifying who you are
We identify your record by the email address you gave us, so we will generally ask you to make the request from that address. We will not ask for extra personal information beyond what is needed to match your record.
Children
This is a business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and the effective date above.
