WaterSen software

The WaterSen Portal makes it easy to track water usage and quality. It helps record, manage, and report from the extraction point to the destination. It is the brains of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI).

A key difference is the immediate water quality and usage, plus history over time. Notifications support proactive decision making. History supports planning and investment.

It is an intelligent tool for managing your water quality, conserving use, and reducing the burden of compliance reporting.

Overview

The WaterSen portal connects meters and sensors over the Microsoft Azure cloud. The design supports sharing the information, selectively, to the water master, field worker, rancher or grower, agency or investor. Access is by role and task.

Add-on telemetry funnels the information in near real time from a Sapphire Ag meter or device, or from many third-party meters and sensors.

  • Real-time device visibility with telemetry
  • Quickly get meter status at first glance, no need to click multiple times
  • Use the Mobile Meter Maid application on your current phone
    • Collect the flow, total, and device image at the site
    • You don't need or like telemetry
    • Or the meter doesn't support it
    • Or it's not cost-effective
  • Provides device-centric alerts and reports
  • Reports and charts by hour, day, week, month, quarter, year
  • Secure NIST-compliant cloud controls access and permissions
  • Low-cost monthly subscription and bundles, including the SIM charge
  • Built-in compliance reporting to SGMA, GSA, CalWATRS and GEARs
  • Manual entry option with audit trails
  • Audit tools to compare agency invoices to Sapphire Ag portal information, a three-way match

The whole offering on a page: meters, sensors, telemetry, and what the portal reports.

It is a public PDF; we ask for an email so we can follow up, not to lock the door. You can ask us to remove it any time.

Water and chemistry. Nothing else.

WaterSen is deliberately narrow: what is flowing, what is in it, and the record of both. That focus is what makes the reporting dependable.

Built for the paperwork

Every meter's history is kept and laid out the way a reporting authority wants to see it. California's the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act is where that pressure is sharpest today, and CalWATRS reporting begins in 2026. When the form changes, the record already exists.
